Brightening the dark with plastic bottles

I couldn't out how to embed this clip so I am using a link instead. Someone figured out am economical way to light dark homes in Malaysia using simple supplies. A chemist could probably explain how this works but that doesn't really matter to me. I am just impressed and happy that something so simple can bring light to the darkness.

Does anyone know how to embed clips from wimp.com and other sites that don't offer embedding info?

I hope your day is bright and beautiful.

That's so simple, but so great! Here's my take on the reasons for the water in the bottle: The chlorinated water will not grow bacteria. The water gives the bottle stability to hold into the cut circle. Not sure how the change in temperature will affect the water though. (Expand and reduction)
