This will wear like iron

I still haven't gotten around to trying gel polish at a nail salon. I don't mind splurging on a pedicure once in a while because it feels so good to have someone work on my feet, but manicures aren't the same thrill. I did buy another new-to-me nail polish that is supposed to dry fairly quickly and wear well.

I admit it, I can be a sucker for advertising when I want something to work.

Anyway, I bought Revlon Top Speed Fast Dry Nail Enamel. Apparently I should have moved out of the aisle with the malfunctioning light. I knew the polish was pink and thought it was light. That is what I wanted. I think.

What I have is bubble gum pink nail polish.

You know this stuff is going to wear like iron just because I don't like the color.
The name alone might have tipped me off. The color is called Pink Lingerie.

Respectfully, but not shyly submitted,
Hoochie Mama Knitty

I can wear color like that on my toes, but not my fingernails. I'd rather have just a hint of color on my hands and usually only use pale shades. Seche Topcoat wears like iron! I swear.

Pink is my favorite color on my nails. I have been suffering with red through the holidays - I don't like red, but what do you wear when all your sweaters are red. heehee Pinks in the summer, spring and burgundys, mauves in the colder months.

I haven't tried Revlons quick drying, but I SWEAR on Maybelline's 50 second nail color. The stuff is amazing and dries in 50 seconds. I love it. And it lasts.

Speaking of which. . .I need to do my nails. The holidays are over. :)

Hahaha!! Not laughing at you but WITH you. I am another sucker for advertising and buying the wrong color is a habit I have yet to break. You will have to update us about whether it does, indeed, wear like iron.
