Blue Monday with a small celebration

Greetings on this last Monday of September. That happened all too quickly, didn't it?

My entry for today is an odd picture, but a triumphant one for me.

It isn't about the bracelet. I made that a while ago and may even have shown it before. It is the blue fabric that my hand is resting upon. The fabric is a pair of slacks. The triumphant part is that I haven't worn these in about a year! They are still more snug than I would like them to be, but I can zip them and wear them without turning blue. As much as I like blue, a blue complexion isn't good unless you are a Smurf!

Click on the Blue Monday above to visit our host, Smiling Sally, and see who else is participating.

As for me, I hope to see all of you around next week, and I hope all of you will see less of me as the slacks get looser.

Hi..thanks so much for stopping by..even if you DON'T like the rain!! Hahaa..I feel better when it rains than any other time and a cloudy, rainy day is my most favorite in the world. It COULD be that I have always lived in West Texas where rain is scarce and hard to come by. You, on the other hand, have probably lived in an area that gets a lot or too much rain. ANYway...I just adore every drop that falls.

Congrats on becoming a grandmother...it is a whole new world that you will L.O.V.E.

I change things around a lot, too. All the family kid me about it all the time. I change my blog often, too...especially the header pic. I leave my background alone now that I've learned to make my photos larger. That calls for a Stretch Min. and there's not too many of those offered on Cutest Blog on the Block....yet. With the larger photos becoming so popular, I'm sure they will offer more backgrounds.

Yes, Congratulations! Losing a few pounds always makes me feel like I'm really doing something. And fitting into those "skinny" clothes is always so exciting! Happy Blue Monday!

I do not have a weight problem, but for those that do it is not easy to drop it. It is so much easier and fun putting it on than taking it off. I like your bracelet too. Glad you stopped by my place.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! Regarding the Taco Soup - You don't need extra liquid bc you do not drain any of the beans/corn added. It's thick kind of like chili and VERY good! Plus it's low cal. If you leave off the sour cream and cheese toppings.
