Pulled in too many directions

I thought it was supposed to be calmer after the holidays!

Nothing is really wrong, but things could go more smoothly. We've all been there, right? I knew January was going to be busy for us, but not quite this hectic. We're only on day 5 and I feel like I've spent a month on this calendar page.

I hope to be back tomorrow or Saturday with a regular post of some sort, but in case I don't make it, I want you to know I haven't dropped off the face of the planet. Not just yet.....

I totally get this!!

I am trying my best to establish some kind of routine, but I feel like a whirling dervish trying to get two different daughters ready to go in two different directions by the weekend.

And then, the trying not to cry while doing so is somewhat taxing too.

Hope it settles down for you soon!

Yep, I'm feeling the same thing. I did take yesterday off completely. It was really because my knee was killing me after doing too much on Tues. So, Wed was spent on the couch with an ice pack and I thoroughly enjoyed snoozing and watching tv. Hubby even survived without a prepared meal. You'll be kicking back and getting some relaxation eventually! Sometimes the stress just seems to be ongoing.

The pain finally got to me. That's why I have been MIA. Percocet helped, but now I feel stoopid. hee

Hello, I understand your dilemma, this time of year is suppose to be calm and relaxing isn't' it? I've been off work for 3 weeks now and will be going back to work on Monday. So life will go back to normal [in a way]
Have a lovely Day!
