Or maybe a weekend that was slow and required no energy. I have tried the relaxation method starting with the toes, but like the counting method, I get so far and then I get distracted. I wish I could turn on the light and read but can't with hubby beside me and I get creeped out being up alone. My only hope is that hubby has insomnia also and we can go out to the kitchen for a snack together!!

xoxo
JaneBlondie's Journalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12988377413260331618noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4182537822027964947.post-19659796333940167642010-01-18T17:38:25.924-05:002010-01-18T17:38:25.924-05:00The story of my life. I am on Ambien now & have gone down to half the dosage that is prescribed. I would like to go to something over the counter when I need it. I did the counting back wards by 2's 3's & even prime numbers. i even did well at combinations: 1+99, 2+92, 3+97, etc.
I'll send the sandman your way.
BeckieSewconsulthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00427879934589715958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4182537822027964947.post-15657618538986027372010-01-18T14:20:44.908-05:002010-01-18T14:20:44.908-05:00Nothing worse than being unable to sleep. It is always tempting to awaken at least ONE other member of the household so you're not so all alone. ;) And counting sheep, counting backwards, reciting the alphabet backwards...none of that has ever worked for me. Even a book that would ordinarily have me snoring inside of five minutes seldom seems to work when I need the help. Hope you have sweet dreams and restful sleep tonight. :)KTWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03709756075367058704noreply@blogger.com
